Excursions scheduled during the summer school event
Excursion 1:Tuesday: 13:00-18:00

We will go by boat to Locarno and then transfer to Tenero, where we will pick up bikes and ride along the river Ticino to Bellinzona (about 15 km). On the way, we will (hopefully) find a nice "Grotto" for lunch. In Bellinzona, we will meet Mr. Geiger who will show us the Castello Montebello (about 1h). From there we will return to Vira.

Excursion 2: Thursday: 10:35-15:20

We will make an excursion to the
Brissago island
by boat.
On the island we will have a guided tour through the famous botanical
garden.
For having lunch, places are reserved in the restaurant.
